"When I first started with Eric, the list of “challenges” he had with me was quite lengthy. Not only was I overweight but I needed a new knee and had rheumatoid arthritis. My balance, flexibility and joint mobility were nonexistent. Being a cancer survivor added additional challenges as the surgery that was performed cut through the abdomen muscles creating scar tissue and lack of tone. I was a train wreck physically. After about a year of personal training, it was decided I needed to have my knee replaced in Fall of 2018. I discussed the surgery with Eric before it happened, and we developed a plan for after care and to get knee strength back. Eating less and getting active played a large part in overcoming that barrier. My goal was to be healthier and regain better mobility which I feel we have done. The weight loss is great but ultimately, I don’t cringe anymore when I bend down and tie my shoes-yeah! I no longer wear a knee brace to take a walk with the dog. I had put off hiring a personal trainer for some time, always thinking I could do it myself. I have found that it is worth the time and investment to hire a trainer to introduce yourself to different exercises/equipment and to make sure you are doing/using them properly. My favorite part(s) about having Eric as my trainer is that he is flexible, has a great sense of humor, likes to talk about sports and our time flies in the gym. I would recommend Eric to anyone looking for guidance, he is very talented at what he does!"
"Before training with Carley, I was very apprehensive to work out in the warrior area. I was unsure of what I was doing, my abilities, my strength... Now I feel confident in the use of equipment, confident in my strength and overall feel like I belong working out in that area. The best part of personal training is the confidence it has given me. It also holds me accountable on days that I would prefer to just go home instead of going to the gym. I feel it is an investment in my health and my future. It has been worth every penny! She’s supportive and fun and keeps my training sessions fresh. I’m never bored and time flies when we are training! Carley has been my fitness professional since she started here. "When I found Courtney, I was in rough shape after a difficult pregnancy. I had gained a lot of weight and lost a considerable amount of flexibility. Courtney helped me work back to a healthy body, tracking my progress along the way. Within a couple weeks, my flexibility was noticeably increasing, and my body fat was dropping. She coached me on correct form and posture to prevent any injuries as I was getting back into shape. Now I am expecting my next baby and working with Courtney to stay healthy and active. I always look forward to my sessions with Courtney as she keeps the workouts fresh and tailors them to my changing goals."
